Summer Backpack Pack-a-thon
Join us this August for our first annual Back to School Summer Backpack Pack-a-thon event! Each year, the Housing Families community donates and packs over 700 backpacks with school supplies for the students who are served by Housing Families programs. These essential school supplies and backpacks ensure that all students start the year off strong! This year we will be bringing the whole Housing Families community together for one large family-friendly packing day filled with fun & community spirit!

Legislative Breakfast
The Annual Legislative Breakfast was held on April 4, 2025. Click here to learn more.
We host this Annual Event with our client, community, and legislative partners to advocate for key policy and legislative initiatives that would improve housing equity and well-being for everyone across Greater Boston.
The Breakfast is presented by our Medical Advisory Committee.
Their focus is to demonstrate how the affordable housing shortage in our region impacts community health, and engage legislators to address the crises we face.

Annual Housing Families Fun Run
Housing Families Fun Run is perfect for families, friends, colleagues, and anyone who wants to get outside and have fun. Enjoy a relaxed, untimed run/walk, plenty of food, games, and activities for all ages. Join us along the Malden River at the River’s Edge Park. The event is followed by an afterparty!
