Housing Families’ growth relies on our board, committees, and volunteers who dedicate time, talent, and expertise to moving our mission forward! The various services we provide offers numerous opportunities for involvement that can be tailored to your interests.

GREAT Youth & Families Tutoring Program

Our largest volunteer program is our GYFP after-school tutors, where no teaching experience is necessary to volunteer. After-school tutors work one-on-one or in small groups with children to complete homework and play academic games. All volunteers will receive training and support to ensure your volunteer experience is both productive and enjoyable.

Community Resource Program

As our pantry continues to grow, we require assistance with managing donations and the distribution of goods. Join us to sort food and housewares, unload supplies, and/or make deliveries to families.

Volunteer Groups

If you’re planning a company outing or volunteer day, or are involved in a community group, we welcome your help! From property maintenance projects at our properties, to volunteering at our pantry, our volunteer opportunities will engage your entire group.  Contact us to discuss options and identify how your organization can make the most impact in the communities we support.
