What We Do

Housing

Housing is at our core. Whether emergency shelter or affordable housing, our team is here to help everyone navigate accessing stable housing.

Legal Services

We provide free legal help to prevent eviction and to support those facing homelessness. We also advocate for equitable government housing policies.

Youth & Family

To build skills and confidence at all ages, Housing Families provides tutoring, after school programs and summer camps.

Wellness

To address wellness, we provide we provide trauma support through counseling, therapy, and support groups for all ages, and offer clients free access to culturally relevant and nutritious food.

Who We Are

For 35 years, Housing Families has provided critical services and resources to families and individuals to help them stabilize and thrive.

At Housing Families, we are working to achieve housing equity and well-being for all. As a nonprofit organization, we partner with communities, families, and individuals to ensure housing stability by offering personalized services including temporary and permanent housing, food assistance, individual counseling and group therapy, legal assistance, and youth programs. Housing Families is the only non-profit in Greater Boston to provide these holistic services under one umbrella.
