ANNUAL CLIENT APPRECIATION CARNIVAL

On August 15, Housing Families hosted over 300 clients at our Annual Client Appreciation Carnival in Malden’s Irish American Club. The event serves as a way to appreciate and celebrate our clients with a family-friendly “carnival” style day. At the event, we also distribute backpacks with school supplies before the school year begins.
This year, Housing Families received 700 backpacks and thousands of school supply donations from both individual and corporate donors. Special thank you to the teams at Greystar, StonehamBank, Leading Edge Real Estate, Curate Partners, Connor’s Kindness Project, For Those Who Can, For Those in Need, and the Melrose Affordable Initiative, for volunteering and hosting school supply drives. Thanks to over 40 volunteers who helped pack backpacks and our donors who supported us, our clients’ families are prepared for the upcoming school year. We are also extremely grateful to Preotle, Lane & Associates, Greystar, and StonehamBank for sponsoring the event.
Apart from back-to-school supplies, the event also provided food, raffles, giveaways, and other fun activities. Housing Families received support from the City of Malden to host a voter registration booth, tables at the venue offered many arts and crafts opportunities, such as rock painting, face painting, balloon animals, and we even had a visit from Professor Bugman Entomology Adventures. Thank you to our supporters and incredible staff for making the event a success!
