ANNUAL HOUSING FAMILIES FUN RUN
Housing Families hosted our 5th Annual Fun Run on Saturday, November 16th at the beautiful Rivers Edge Park in Medford! Held during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the Fun Run highlights the critical need for housing, as well as the significant link between physical health and a stable place to live. With the support of presenting sponsor Greystar, and premiere Sponsor ProKeeping, the Housing Families community raised over $34,000 to advance our vision of housing equity and well-being for all!
It was a perfect fall day for community fun by the Malden River. 165 attendees walked, ran, and scootered along the race route, many accompanied by their dogs, clocking in a total of 511 miles! There was pre-race yoga with MOTA Fitness, face painting, balloon animals, lawn games, a raffle, and more! Delicious food and drinks were generously provided by The Establishment and Nazar Market.
Tess Johnson, who raised $583 with the Inchworms team, won the fundraising grand prize of a weeklong stay at The Fairways at Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
