11/01/2016: Homelessness Awareness Month
Last year, 11,856 families in Massachusetts applied for housing assistance in order to escape or avoid homelessness.
You almost never see families experiencing homelessness because they are forced into motels, live doubled up in unsafe conditions, or spend nights in cars. These families become invisible, making it difficult to get the help that they need.
Help us bring light to the struggles these families face this November by participating in National Homelessness Awareness Month. Please join us in a national movement to end homelessness by doing what you can to help your community.
